Great food!

Update: Still good. Got the quesadilla with grilled chicken today. Simple and good. Just what I was craving. The street tacos were really good and the portions were big. They've got whole beans too which isn't always a given at Mexican restaurants. A bit dated with the card vs cash price system though. Prices are for cash with card prices charging more.

I was impressed with this restaurant immediately upon entering, because it is well decorated, has a nice seating arrangement, is very clean, and a host came to seat us very quickly. The menu has a lot of options, and our 12-year-old companion was happy with the chips and salsa as well as his meal, which is not a common occurrence. I really appreciated that the chips were warm and fresh. I had the carne asada and it was absolutely fantastic: tender, and well marinated. The margarita was also great. I think this is our new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. We will absolutely be back!

We love Ajuaa, but the prices have really increased--especially for alcohol. Corona costs $8 and a house margarita is nearly $13--during happy hour! After ordering house margaritas, I've been charged for premium. They have cash and credit price differences in their menu. But we always have to correct them when we pay cash. They claim it's a system error, but apparently they aren't too concerned with finding a solution to that! So I'd definitely tell them if you're paying cash BEFORE they bring your bill.
